i've recently been following the work of artist helen loussier quite closely. she creates whimsical portraits of everyday life - the beauty of it all - with some acid-like watercolours faded softly into one another.

clouds the colour of lemonade, bright red sunlight and breezy blue beaches ... summertime in a nutshell. i, however, prefer to glimpse at these images rather than to be living them firsthand, which means i must finally be accepting the coming of autumn.
