this post is a bit late coming ...i sejourned at a family friend's cottage last weekend, which entailed snoozing on the sandy beach, playing water football, sifting through us weekly & people magazine, all the while staying hydrated with the aid of mineral water, mixed fruit juice & iced tea.
by the time we finally left the beach, it was past dinner, but the sun had yet to make its departure. in the evening, we enjoyed chicken burgers on the barbecue & played cards until bedtime.
the entirety definitely improved my natural glow (without crossing the thin line that is a sunburn) & proved to be really quite relaxing.
ahh, the simple life.
