my heart goes out to this girl because she just recently lost her husband to a (supposed) drug overdose. i hate to see it happen to someone who has always seemed so cheery & gentle.
b) kate nash.
i love this girl's story: she fell down after an audition and broke her foot, leaving her unable to move. hence, her parents bought her an electric guitar & she took the time to master the art of singing-songwriting. then, you guessed it - success !
both so splendid, and both producing some of the catchiest tunes on the market. ah, to be young & talented.
