light enough to travel

this makes me smile.
pittsburgh 6th street bridge by real city art.
i guess i'm not really inspired at the moment: all i've done as of late is watch dancing with the stars, though i'd promised myself i'd post.
here i am posting, if this even counts.
speaking of dancing with the stars, how cute is lance bass ! i had forgotten how much i loved him back in his n'sync days. also, cloris is tremendously entertaining, and the little hannah montana boy is funny. i have a feeling this will be a good season.
make that great.

still, the night is short.

i've recently been following the work of artist helen loussier quite closely. she creates whimsical portraits of everyday life - the beauty of it all - with some acid-like watercolours faded softly into one another.

clouds the colour of lemonade, bright red sunlight and breezy blue beaches ... summertime in a nutshell. i, however, prefer to glimpse at these images rather than to be living them firsthand, which means i must finally be accepting the coming of autumn.

i've got to make you understand you've gotta take it like a man

once in a blue moon you'll come across a hidden gem, something spectacular that hasnt yet been dusted off and thrust into the glitzy world of fame. flickr user bebeboudoir's work falls under that category.

her laudable contributions to the supernal fashion illustration realm are comparable to those of liselotte watkins and coco.
keep your eyes open for her work in the future, because this is one diamond that won't be in the rough for long.
